How to play

• One new puzzle every day at midnight. Sixteen words hide four links of four words each. Par is 4, one stroke per link.
• Each pen holds one link. Fill one pen to play it safe, or fill two, three or four pens to play several links in one swing.
• A swing costs one stroke per wrong link, and at least one stroke. Four right links in one swing is a hole in one.
• Out of bounds: if a pen's four words all belong to different links, that pen costs one extra stroke.
• Correct links drop into the cup. Wrong pens keep their words so you can adjust them.
• Hint boxes two words from the same link together in the grid. Hints unlock once you reach par (4 strokes), and you get up to 3. Once you take hints, your score can't go below 4 + hints used.
• Your score is capped at 8, so you can keep swinging as long as you like.
• Once you've used your hints, you can give up. Your score is then 8, plus 2 for each link you haven't solved.
